Terms of Service
These are the terms that govern creating an account and playing Thrensea.
Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using any part of Thrensea, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account or use the game.
Accounts and eligibility
You need to have reached the legal age of adulthood in the country or region where you live to create an account on your own. If you haven't, a parent or legal guardian needs to agree to these terms for you and take responsibility for your use of Thrensea. We comply with the age and consent requirements that apply where you live.
Each account belongs to one person. Accounts can't be shared, transferred, or jointly owned, and buying, selling, or trading an account for real money is not allowed.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials private and for everything that happens on your account. Tell us as soon as possible if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
The information you give us when you register needs to be accurate. We can restrict access to Thrensea by age, region, or other criteria where needed, including to comply with local law or sanctions.
Acceptable use
Using Thrensea means agreeing not to:
- Cheat or exploit, including using bots, macros, unauthorized third-party tools, or known bugs to gain an unfair advantage
- Trade real money for game content, including selling, buying, or trading accounts, items, or currency outside of any official system we offer
- Run unauthorized servers, including hosting or connecting to any unofficial copy of Thrensea's game server
- Reverse engineer the game, including decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise trying to extract Thrensea's source code or assets
- Harass other players, including hate speech, threats, doxxing, and sustained targeted abuse
- Impersonate others, including staff, other players, or any person or organization
- Disrupt the service, including attacks on our infrastructure or attempts to interfere with other players' access to the game
We can warn, suspend, or permanently close an account that breaks these rules. How serious the action is depends on how serious the violation is.
Virtual goods and currency
- No ownership: anything you obtain in Thrensea, whether earned through play or purchased, is licensed to you for use inside the game. It isn't property, a security, or a financial instrument.
- No cash value: virtual currency and items can't be exchanged for real money, refunded, or transferred outside of Thrensea, except through any official system we build for that purpose.
- Subject to change: we can add, adjust, rebalance, or remove virtual items and currency, including ones you already have, particularly to fix bugs, close exploits, or keep the game balanced.
- Subscriptions renew automatically: if Thrensea offers a paid subscription, it renews and bills automatically until you cancel. We'll give notice before any price increase takes effect.
- 14-day refund on your game purchase: the purchase that includes your first month of playtime can be refunded in full within 14 days of buying it. In-game currency purchases and subscription renewals aren't covered by this window.
- Purchases through a third party: if you buy through a third-party platform or merchant, that merchant's own refund process applies instead of this section.
- Otherwise, purchases are final: outside of the 14-day window above, we don't owe a refund except where the law that applies to you requires one.
Intellectual property
Thrensea, including its code, art, music, writing, and design, belongs to us or our licensors. Using the game gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play it. It doesn't give you any ownership over it.
If you post or create something through Thrensea, such as a forum post, a character name, or a screenshot, you give us a broad license to use, reproduce, and share it in connection with operating and promoting the game. You keep whatever rights you already had in it.
You can't copy, resell, rent, or create derivative works from Thrensea's client, assets, or content outside of what these terms allow.
Termination
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other players, staff, or the game itself at risk. Where practical, we'll explain why.
You can stop playing and close your account at any time. Closing an account doesn't entitle you to a refund of anything already paid, except where the law that applies to you requires one.
Sections that are naturally meant to outlast an account, including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution, continue to apply after it's closed.
Disclaimers and liability
Thrensea is provided as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. We don't guarantee the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim relating to Thrensea is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in this section limits liability that can't legally be limited, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction, to be finalized], without regard to conflict of law principles, and any dispute not resolved informally is subject to the courts of [venue, to be finalized].
Before starting a formal dispute, contact us at info@thrensea.com so we can try to resolve it directly.
Nothing in this section removes any right you have under the mandatory consumer protection law of the country or province where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Thrensea develops. We'll update the date above when we do, and significant changes will be called out here.
- July 30, 2026: Initial Terms of Service published, pending entity details.
